ZX7-V control board is designed for single-tube and dual power ZX7 welding machine, which requires 200V-300V DC power input. Its peripheral leads are simple, and it can detect and display. The dual power can be switched accurately and reliably, and it has functions of peak current control and pulse by pulse current limit. It also applies to single-tube and full-bridge IGBT welding machine.
1. After being powered on, the control board will detect the DC bus voltage and display it on the head (the value displayed is AC voltage). For example, if the bus voltage is 315V, the value displayed is 220V; and if the bus voltage is 540V, the value displayed is 380V. One second later, turn on the soft-start- relay (24V / 40A or 60A relay), and one second later, switch the main transformer tap (or dual voltage switch) according to the voltage range, so that the welding machine can operate under 220V or 380V.
2. The voltage will be switched between 220V and 380V if the AC voltage is 270V.
3. After the welding machine starts, keep monitoring the input voltage. When it operates with 220V, it will alarm and stop operating in case the net voltage exceeds 280V; and when it operates with 380V, it will alarm and stop working in case the net voltage exceeds 440V. The failure light will flash after it stops operating, and it will return to normal condition after being shut down and restarted.
4. During switching, IGBT welding machine will not send driving signal, and this ensures that the relay is switched without current and the arc of the relay will not be damaged.
